Individuals under 18 years of age are required by law to take Drivers Education in order to obtain a Maine drivers license. Students will learn the techniques of driving while also being introduced to basic vehicle maintenance, safety precautions, traffic regulations and, of course, Maine laws.
Once you complete this course, Bud's Driving will issue a temporary learners permit that is good for 60 days. Before those 60 days expire, you MUST go to the Bureau of Motor Vehicle to obtain your actual learners permit which will be valid for 2 years.
